Dan Roche
Dan Roche is a sports anchor and reporter for WBZ-TV News. He also hosts "Red Sox This Week" on sister station TV38.
Roche recently won a New England Emmy Award for Outstanding Sports Series for "Red Sox This Week," a half-hour Red Sox show that airs Sunday nights on TV38 and WBZ-TV. He has also been nominated twice for an Emmy Award for Best Sports Reporter in New England.
Prior to joining WBZ-TV in October of 2000, Roche worked at WBZ Radio. Beginning in 1994, he held several roles including midday sports anchor, Boston Bruins game host, and co-host of the "Sunday Sports Page" with Steve DeOssie.
In addition to WBZ Radio, Roche has worked at WHDH and WRKO Radio in Boston and at WCCM and WCGY Radio in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Roche is a graduate of Syracuse University and North Andover High School. He was born in Methuen, MA and currently lives in Andover with his wife and two children.
