Jon Keller is WBZ-TV News' Political Analyst, and his "Keller At Large" reports on a wide range of topics are regularly featured during WBZ-TV News at 6PM and 11PM. Keller also broadcasts morning drive commentaries on WBZ NewsRadio 1030 and is a contributing editor for Boston Magazine.

Jon Keller is widely regarded as the top political analyst in New England. He is a favorite of the region's viewers because he is smart and witty, and he asks the tough questions everyone wants to have asked. The politicians respect him too because he has a distinguished reputation for being fair, accurate, and dedicated to serving viewers. Although 'Keller at Large' primarily tackles politics, Keller also makes social and cultural commentary on news of the day and pop culture.

Before joining WBZ-TV , Keller served as Political Analyst for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV (WB56), Boston's WB affiliate and Tribune Broadcasting station. Prior to WB56 News, Keller's background was in radio and print reporting. Keller also broadcasts morning drive commentaries on WBZ NewsRadio 1030. Previously, he was an op-ed columnist for The Boston Globe. Keller spent four years as a political reporter for The Boston Phoenix and was a part-time radio talk-show host on WBZ Radio. Before that, he held positions with the TAB Newspapers, People Magazine (Boston Bureau) and a number of radio stations across the region.

Keller was named "Best TV Political Analyst" for the second time in Boston Magazine's 29th annual "Best of Boston" issue and previously won the award in 1999. Keller received a New England Emmy Award for Best Reporting in May 2004. He won his first Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences/New England regional chapter for "Best Commentary" in 1998.

Born in Washington, DC in 1956, Jon was raised in Cambridge and graduated from Commonwealth High School in 1973. Keller received his bachelor's degree from Brandeis University in 1977 where he earned Cum Laude honors.

Jon has been married for thirty years and has two grown sons. In his spare time (of which there is little), Jon enjoys traveling; studying architecture; playing poker; listening to live blues, jazz and soul music; playing golf and tennis as well as bodysurfing the beaches of New England.

Boston's WBZ-TV is part of CBS Television Stations, a division of CBS Corporation.
