Peg Rusconi
Award winning journalist Peg Rusconi joined WBZ-TV as a general assignment reporter in 1997. Before returning to Boston, Rusconi worked as a reporter for WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, and anchored the morning and noon newscasts at WOKR-TV in Rochester, NY.
Rusconi began her career in broadcast journalism at WIXT-TV in Syracuse, NY. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and holds degrees in political science and journalism. As an accomplished runner, Rusconi has participated in 10 marathons in Boston, New York City, Las Vegas and Columbus in addition to meeting the qualifying standard for six Boston Marathons.
When she is not working, Rusconi enjoys skiing, following Boston's sports teams and spending time with her husband and child.
