Rich Kirkland is the morning drive-time traffic reporter for WBZ-TV News in the Morning. In addition to monitoring New England's roadways, Kirkland reports breaking news from the SkyEye 4 helicopter for WBZ-TV News at 5PM and 6PM.
Prior to joining WBZ-TV, Kirkland served as Operations Director for Metro Networks in Boston, which provides traffic information used by media across the state of Massachusetts. During that time, he was also the voice of WBZ-TV 's morning traffic reports.
Kirkland has worked as Program Director at WRKO-AM in Boston. He is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications.
