If you didn't make it into the Boston Marathon field, here's another chance to cross that famous finish line on Boylston Street.

The inaugural B.A.A. 5k Race will be held Sunday, April 19 - the morning before the Marathon.

The race starts at 8 a.m.

The field is limited to the first 4,000 entrants.

Registration is online only.

It opens this Thursday at 10 a.m. at baa.org.

There is a $40 non-refundable entry fee.
