Boston sports fans get ready for a jam-packed weekend as the city comes alive with events and celebrations.
The Boston Celtics and Bruins are both hosting playoff games Saturday at the Garden while thousands of runners get ready for Monday's Boston Marathon.
"If you're not in the city of Boston this weekend, I don't know where else on earth you'd rather be," one proud Bostonian told WBZ's Jim Smith.
Halftime Pizza is across the street from the Garden, and they say they are looking forward to the big crowd.
"It will be a long day, but it's good for business," said Rita Pasquale with Halftime pizza. "It's good for all the Boston fans. They're out having a good time."
It's estimated the Boston Marathon and other events this weekend will bring $10 million to the city.
"I have a feeling it's going to be a zoo," said Marathon volunteer Paul Schwartz. "But Boston will love it. It'll be great for the city. I bet Mayor Menino will be absolutely delighted."
Even those who aren't sports fans can enjoy this weekend in Boston where temperatures soared to 70 on Friday.
