MASSCAP is an association of 24 community action agencies helping low income and vulnerable people across the state of Massachusetts. These anti-poverty agencies help people become self sufficient through advocacy and offers them needed services such as food, shelter, affordable housing and much more.
Yadires Nova-Salcedo is the host and producer of "Centro," a special news segment that airs on WBZ-TV Saturday mornings. "Centro" examines issues of importance to the Latino community including education, politics, current events and entertainment. Nova-Salcedo joined WBZ-TV in February 1996.

CENTRO is produced in English with Spanish subtitles and focuses on issues of importance to the Latino community. Geared to educating New Englanders to the culture and issues that are a part of the Latino community, CENTRO explores a wide variety of subjects including current events, education, politics, and entertainment.
