Lupus or SLE is a chronic inflammatory disease that can affect various parts of the body, especially the skin, joints, blood, kidneys and other organs. There is no cure for this disease that affects at least 1.5 million Americans. On this edition of "Centro", we'll tell you about "Runway for a Cure" "Pasarela para una Cura", an event that's trying to bring awareness about Lupus, especially within the Latino community in Rhode Island.
