WASHINGTON (CBS) ― Toymaker Mattel is recalling nearly 9 million toys for possible hazards to children. Polly Pocket toy sets, Batman action figures and die-cast "Sarge" Jeeps from the "Cars" movie have lead in the paint. Additional toys were recalled because of possible swallowing hazards from magnets.

Owners of a recalled toy can exchange it for a voucher for another product of the same value. If your product is affected, a replacement product voucher will be sent to you within 8 - 12 weeks upon receipt of your return. Vouchers may be used at most national retailers and are good toward any Fisher-Price or Mattel manufactured product. For more information, call Mattel's recall hot line at (800) 916-4498.

Pixar Cars recall involved die cast "Sarge" toy cars. The toy looks like a military jeep and measures about 3 inches long by 1 inch high and 1 inch wide. It has the markings "7EA" and "China" on the bottom. It is sold alone or in a package of two. The cars marked "Thailand" are not included in this recall.

On Oct. 25, 2007 The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Fisher-Price announced the recall of another set of Mattel products because of lead paint problems. This time it's recalling about 38,000 Fisher-Price 'Go Diego Go Animal Rescue Boats.'

The toy is an orange and yellow boat that squirts water and cartoon character Diego is in the driver's seat.  The Fisher-Price product number is K3413, and a date code between 137-7HF and 223-7HF are marked on the toys.
