Find Discontinued Cosmetics Before They're Gone

Like any part of the fashion industry, cosmetics companies are constantly changing with the times.
Styles change, colors get updated and there are even new materials introduced.
All that can be good news for the consumer, unless they stop making your favorite product.
"It's awful," said one woman shopping at a cosmetics counter.
As a makeup artist, this kind of thing happens to Johnna Sklar all the time.
"There's this really great eyeliner that I love, black violet, and it got discontinued," she said.
"I always get people asking me to help them find a color that looks similar or close to the color that they love."
Before you give up on your favorite shade of lipstick or that foundation that matches your skin perfectly, check out the web.
Many cosmetics companies offer a last chance on their on their discontinued products online at a discount.
Benefit, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique and Bobbi Brown all offer discontinued items on their web sites.
The products are only available until they run out of stock, but it might be worth a check if you can't find your favorite blush.
