Report: Chris Brown To Plead Not Guilty

Brown Allegedly Beat Up Girlfriend Rihanna

NEW YORK (CBS) ― R&B singer Chris Brown, hit with felony assault and criminal threat charges, will plead not guilty, according to pop culture Web site Radar. Brown allegedly beat up girlfriend Rihanna the night of the Grammy's in February.

The 19-year-old Brown is scheduled for arraignment on Monday.

Brown was arrested Feb. 8 and booked on suspicion of making felony criminal threats to a woman, apparently identified as Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Fenty.
