Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Phyllis, Nick and Michael meet with Heather on a fact-finding mission to figure out why Phyllis has been accused of hurting Summer. Meanwhile, Mary Jane is satisfied that Phyllis will be too busy defending herself to go after Jack anymore. Later, Heather pushes Nick for information on his relationship with Sharon. Phyllis loses her cool with Heather and slaps her. Heather makes it clear to Michael that she isn't letting this case drop for any reason. Later, Heather meets with Mary Jane to reassure her that no one will ever know that she was the one who reported the abuse. Meanwhile, Nick decides to take Phyllis to the hospital, no matter what.

At the hospital, Phillip explains to Cane that he came back so that Cane didn't have to take the fall alone for everything they did. In her hospital room, emotions are high as Kay says that her faith has been rocked to the core. Cane tries to apologize but Kay is disgusted by his actions and Jill is heartbroken. Nina finds Phillip at the Chancellor Estate and looks to him for answers that he isn't ready to give her. Kay informs Jill that she doesn't want this second chance with Phillip because this plan he contrived with Cane nearly killed her and she doesn't think she can get past it. Neil shows up at Cane's just as Cane is desperately trying to make Lily understand why he did what he did. Neil pushes Cane away and demands that he never touch his daughter again. Later, Lily gives Cane back her wedding ring. Phillip admits to Nina that he is gay.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Rosanna confronts Carly about her drinking and says she found empty liquor bottles all over the house. Carly admits she's been taking a drink now and then, but she insists she's not an alcoholic. Rosanna doesn't believe her. Carly acts outraged that Rosanna would accuse Carly of being an alcoholic and she sends Rosanna to Margo and Tom's where everyone is gathering for the wedding. Carly puts on her wedding dress and starts drinking. Carly continues to drink in the limo. When Carly arrives at Tom and Margo's she overhears Craig and Rosanna arguing about her drinking problem. Carly turns around and runs back to the limo where she continues to drink. Craig tries to hide his alarm when Carly fails to show up for their wedding.

Liberty helps Parker out of a jam and they take their first step to becoming friends again.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

When Taylor confesses her insecurity in her renewed relationship with Ridge, Stephanie assures her that Brooke will no longer be an issue. Eric desperately attempts to convince Ridge to reconcile with Brooke, for the sake of the company. Ridge does his best, but is unsuccessful, at trying to convince a heartbroken Brooke to stay at Forrester Creations.


GUIDING LIGHT

Jeffrey explains to Reva that his plane is going down and he called to say goodbye. Reva desperately clings to hope that Jeffrey will make it and assures him of how much she loves him. Suddenly the line goes dead. Josh runs to her when he hears her screaming. Josh calls Frank and explains to him what happened. Frank alerts the FAA. Mallet and Marina get a surprise visit from Edmund's lawyer, who informs them that Edmund added Henry to his will. Mallet wonders how Edmund knew Henry was his grandson and Marina worries that Henry is in danger. Marina opens the box from Edmund and finds an envelope addressed to Henry. Marina reads the letter from Edmund, which says that he knew Henry was alive and that the people of Springfield were liars who kept it hidden from him. Marina holds Henry tight and burns all of Edmund's papers. Shayne and Mallet suddenly realize that Dinah was with Jeffrey. Frank tells Shayne they have no information to find Jeffrey. Reva is furious when she overhears Frank say that Dinah and Jeffrey are probably dead.

Frank announces that Remy and Cyrus are both getting recognized for solving the diamond case. Frank gives certificates of honor to Remy and Cyrus. Frank informs Cyrus that he's been recruited as a criminal consultant for the SPD. Buzz still wonders who donated the stove. Daisy is shocked when she receives a check for tuition to Berkeley and has no idea where it came from. Daisy explains to Ashlee that even if she wanted to go to Berkeley, she couldn't because they gave away her spot. Buzz finally gets the nerve to open Coop's box and inside, he finds a stack of books about robberies and jewel thieves. Remy points out to Cyrus that a few diamonds were missing. After Remy leaves, Cyrus looks at the diamonds he kept and it's revealed that he's Daisy and Buzz's benefactor.
