Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Neil decides to take a leave of absence from Chancellor to be with Lily. Meanwhile, Cane is about to get on the bus when Mac blurts out that Lily has cancer. At Billy's trailer, Mac tries to convince Cane that all Lily truly needs right now is her husband but Cane doesn't believe it is the right thing for him to do anything. Later, Mac offers to let Cane stay at the trailer so that he can be in town for Lily's sake. Cane asks Mac to do something for him to help Lily's spirits. Mac delivers all of Lily's favorite movies to her.

Jeff and Gloria meet with Victor and inform them that they managed to set Colleen up and posted the video footage on the internet. Victor, however, refuses to pay until Colleen is off Newman's board of Directors. Later, J.T. sees a side Victoria that he doesn't necessarily like when she scolds a subordinate for making a mistake. Ryder watches Kevin, Gloria, Jana and Jeff from the shadows as Gloria asks Kevin to get her an untraceable email account. Later, Kevin sets Gloria up with a Newman Enterprises email account and she is able to send the video of Colleen out. Moments later, Victoria and J.T. see the video on a computer at Newman. J.T. is stunned by Victoria's fury towards Colleen's indiscretion. Colleen arrives moments later and J.T. manages to warn her about the video just before Victor and Victoria confront her. Victor demands her removal from the Newman Board for her behavior.

Amber realizes that she needs to come clean with Daniel about her past with Deacon before Deacon has the chance to do it himself. Amber tries to stop Deacon and admit the truth to Daniel until Deacon takes out a photo of his son, Eric, the boy Amber once raised as her own. Amber demands to know what Deacon wants from her. Deacon wants her in exchange for the incriminating evidence he has on Daniel. When Amber turns him down, Deacon calls the police with information about a crime. Later, Jana introduces Ryder to Kevin and Ryder plays himself off as one of Kevin's biggest supporters. An FBI agent arrives at Daniel's apartment with a search warrant and they find the forged Terroni behind the wall. Daniel is taken into custody.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Damian wants to get on Meg's good side, so with Lily's help, he tracks down a surgeon in New York that would be willing to come to Oakdale to care for Paul. Barbara, meanwhile, shows Paul pictures of his family, but he doesn't recognize any of them, nor does he feel a particular connection to them. Meg shows up and Barbara hopes she can have an effect, but not even Meg can. Paul asks about their relationship and figures Meg and her daughter are better off without Paul.

Dusty wants to plead guilty to setting the bomb that hurt Paul and fires Bonnie, but she won't give up without a fight. Bonnie's sure she can help him and kisses him. Dusty's not used to women helping him, but he'll take it under consideration.

Luke sees Noah and Mason working. Mason has to meet his partner and leaves. Noah is stressed out about his final project and Luke suggests they go out to blow off some steam. They go to Metro where they see Mason and his boyfriend, George, having a fight. George leaves. Mason shares their story with Luke and Noah about how they met in Cannes and traveled around Europe and how George is bored and needy in Oakdale and that it's a source of tension. Luke and Noah promise not to end up like them.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Whip is shocked by the response he receives from Brooke after he plants a kiss on her. Taylor takes matters into her own hands to keep Ridge as her own after Steffy informs her about walking in on him and Brooke in an affectionate embrace. Whip reports back to Stephanie about his encounter with Brooke and a new plan is put into place. Steffy confronts Brooke about her intentions towards Ridge and warns her to stay away.


GUIDING LIGHT

Company is in renovation mode as roofers work outside on a new roof. Cyrus gets a call from Remy and pulls out the diamonds and his list. Remy informs Cyrus that he knows Cyrus took the diamonds and he has to get rid of them. Frank thinks Remy is going to tip off Cyrus so he calls in the cops to block him from leaving. Frank locks Remy in jail. Two men in suits arrive with Frank and arrest Cyrus. The agents start to search the restaurant. Cyrus hands over the diamonds and his list falls on the floor. The agent reads the list and Buzz realizes Cyrus is their guardian angel. The agents announce that they need to confiscate all the gifts as evidence, including Daisy's check. The agents lead cuffed Cyrus out the door. Buzz panics when the agents take Coop's books as evidence too. Cyrus explains to Remy that he's going to take full credit for what he did and hopes the Coopers don't lose everything. Cyrus explains to Buzz that he was just trying to help.

Lillian loses it when James informs her he left Phillip in the woods. Phillip admits that Alan was the reason he came home because when Phillip was young, Alan taught him what courage was all about. Lillian asks Beth to go with her to rescue Alan and Philip but Beth doesn't want to go. Lillian impatiently pulls Beth with her to rescue the guys. Alan admits to Phillip that he was drafted in the Vietnam war but was too scared to go. Alan asked his father to get him out of it so Brandon arranged for another man, Gerry, to go in his place. Alan later found out that Gerry was killed in the war. Alan admits to Phillip that since the day he was drafted, he hasn't made a single brave choice.

Olivia thanks Josh for keeping her out of trouble and can't believe she was in such bad shape. Olivia searches for information about Natalia but Blake doesn't give her any answers. Olivia explains to Remy she wants to track down all of Natalia's past employers and explains that Natalia is missing. Remy offers to check for her. Olivia asks Christina to drop Emma off soon because they're going on a trip to Chicago the next day.
