Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Olivia informs Lily, Neil and Devon that she pulled some strings to get one of the leading gynecological oncologists to do Lily's surgery but Lily refuses to have her surgery today. Lily explains to them that she wants to harvest her eggs before she has the surgery. Billy and Cane come face to face at the trailer both shocked to see the other at the trailer. Cane tries to explain that he is here for Lily but Billy demands that he leave town and never come back. Meanwhile, feeling ganged up on by Neil, Devon and Olivia, Lily slips out of the hospital in order to have time to think. Billy confronts Mac about allowing Cane to stay at the trailer and the argument escalates when Billy is unable to see Mac's side of it. Meanwhile, Tyra stops by the hospital to drop off food and check on Lily and discovers that she is gone. Later, Lily stops by the dive bar looking for Cane but instead finds Billy. Billy realizes how much Lily truly needs her husband and promises to find him. Just as Billy and Lily are about to set out to find Cane, Cane walks in the front door of the dive bar and locks eyes with Lily.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon and Jack watch Victor's press conference and Sharon learns that Mary Jane was responsible for hurting Summer. Nearby, unbeknownst to Sharon and Jack, Mary Jane watches them in disguise. Outside Sharon's G.C.A.C. suite, Jack finds a beat up cardboard box with Sharon's name written across it. Inside is a doll that Mary Jane found in a dumpster earlier. Later, Jack asks Sharon to move back in with him but Sharon refuses. Mac runs into Mary Jane at the shelter, unaware of who she is, and offers her some help. Meanwhile, Jack books a room next to Sharon's suite without her knowledge in order to protect her from Mary Jane.

Nikki stops by the ranch to talk to Victor about Adam. Later, Nikki explains to Victor that Adam is gay just as Rafe has a near miss with Heather and Adam post-love making. Adam breaks up with Rafe, who believes that Adam is ending things because he isn't ready to face his sexuality. Adam assures him that he was merely confused and scared. Later, Nikki and Rafe both try to warn Heather away from Adam but she doesn't want to hear it from either of them. Meanwhile, Victor confronts Adam and explains to him that he knows he is gay. Victor stuns Adam further when he assures Adam he accepts him for who he is.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Rosanna cooks an unappetizing meal for Parker and Sage, and then takes them to the Lakeview. Craig has to go to Chicago for a meeting with Rosanna, so they take the kids with them. In Chicago, Craig meets with his client Ed Lazarus as Teri, the kids' waitress, makes them a delicious meal. Craig and Rosanna's deal falls through when Lazarus realizes Rosanna is of Cabot Motors. Teri and Sage hit it off. Craig and Rosanna are thankful to each other for their efforts.

Lucinda arranges for Dean Severn to come over and discuss Luke's possible reinstatement. Luke talks it over with Damian and doesn't really want to go back to school. Luke explains this to his parents, who understand but are wary nonetheless.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Taylor surprises Stephanie with her good news, and immediately goes into planning mode. Whip arranges for an outrageous photo shoot with Jackie as the star and Owen as her prop. As Ridge goes to break the news to Brooke, Taylor can't help but feeling insecure that Brooke may be able to change his mind.


GUIDING LIGHT

Reva hesitates before going to the funeral home and admits to Billy she doesn't know what Jeffrey would want. Reva and Billy meet with the funeral director but Reva can't go through with it and asks Billy to finish up for her. Rafe doesn't think Jeffrey's family would want him at the funeral. Frank says he needs to go and they all know he shot Jeffrey by accident. Danny reveals to Olivia that they are coming back to Springfield with his family and thinks it will be a nice chance for a new start. Dinah explains to Shayne that he's everything she ever wanted but she can't marry him. Shayne guesses correctly that Dinah doesn't think she deserves a happy life since Jeffrey's life is over. Reva remembers the day Jeffrey told her that her laugh was the first thing he fell in love with. Reva comes to the spot where they had their final picnic and calls Billy when she realizes where Jeffrey wants the funeral. Marina can't believe Mallet thinks she's capable of the murder and doesn't remember how the stroller got damaged. Marina runs into Danny's arms, desperately needing support. Dinah suggests to Frank that it might be better to put the case in the unsolved file and let everyone heal. Matt flirts with Doris. Remy tries to give Mallet the broken stroller and Mallet finally takes it. Remy watches as Mallet smashes the stroller, then he hurls it into the dumpster. Remy realizes that Marina could be the murderer. Billy reminds Marina that unlike Reva, Marina has her husband to keep her steady. Marina asks Ashlee to watch Henry so she can spend time with Mallet. Marina maintains that she isn't the murderer.

Olivia is still emotionally drained. Olivia gets a call from Ava and is happy to hear that Ava is coming to Jeffrey's funeral. Rafe admits to Ashlee that his mom thinks she's in love with a woman then he asks Ashlee not to say anything. Later, Ashlee informs Doris that Rafe told her Natalia is gay and that Rafe was more upset that Natalia never told him. Dinah, alone with baby Henry, confesses that she was the one who picked up the stroller and killed the man. Matt, unseen by Dinah, overhears. Dinah sees Matt and suddenly realizes he heard her confession. When Ashlee interrupts them, Dinah takes off. Dinah admits to Matt that she killed someone. Matt assures her she did the right thing and now she needs to let it go and marry Shayne.
