Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Chance reveals to Chloe and Kay that he has decided to stay in Genoa City for good with the people he loves. Later, Phillip arrives wanting to talk to Chance, who has no interest in knowing his father.

Deacon continues to taunt Amber, explaining to her that timing is running out on his offer. Meanwhile, Daniel confides in Jana that once he gets out of jail he is going to ask Amber to marry him. Meanwhile, Amber agrees to sleep with Deacon to save Daniel. Deacon sets Amber up so that Daniel hears everything and realizes that Amber is having sex with Deacon.

Neil and Olivia are distraught as they search for Lily. Meanwhile, Lily explains to Cane that she can't lose the chance of having children. Later, Cane pushes Lily to go back to the hospital and fight the cancer first. Lily reveals to him that the reason she found out about the cancer was because she thought she was pregnant with their child and Cane is slammed all over again. Cane, however, continues to plead with her to go back to the hospital and save her own life. Lily arrives with Cane at her side and agrees to have the surgery. Kay finds Phillip and Cane at the dive bar and while Kay ignores Phillip, she asks Cane to stay in town and thanks him for everything he did for Lily today. Meanwhile, Olivia is heartbroken when she informs Neil that Lily's cancer spread and they had to remove all of her reproductive organs.

Billy meets with Mac at the trailer and apologizes for their fight. Billy shows her the surprise he set up her, memories from their prom as they dance together. Later, Billy tortures and teases Mac as he reads entries from her journal from high school. Meanwhile, Chloe fills in Chance about her drama with Billy and Mac and is stunned to learn that Chance has never had a girlfriend. Billy and Mac start to make love after waiting six years. Billy turns off his and Mac's phones, not wanting any more interruptions. Meanwhile, Chloe nearly chokes on her coffee when she learns that Chance is a virgin. Chloe stuns Chance when she plants a sexy, seductive kiss on him, trying to prove to him that he clearly is missing out on something.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Hunter brings the box of his mother's ashes to work and Emily's upset that he keeps avoiding a maternal relationship with her. Emily goes to Al's where she runs into Paul. Emily's shocked to learn Paul has no memory of who he was or their sordid history together. Emily fills him in on what he did to provoke Dusty and Damian and why Dusty's on trial. Before Dusty's trial, Bonnie tries to convince Meg to be a character witness. Dusty's determined to plead guilty. Bonnie believes a witness, who could explain the motivations behind Dusty's actions, could help convince the judge to give Dusty a more lenient sentence. Instead, it is Paul who shows up in court apologetically explaining how he provoked Dusty. Dusty is told by the judge he will learn his sentence in a few days. Dusty thanks Bonnie for all her help. Meg's pleasantly surprised by Paul's behavior, but Damian's wary. Meanwhile, Lucinda informs Emily that the print version of the Intruder is over and so is Emily's career there. Emily's livid and blames Hunter. Hunter quits. Meanwhile, Meg can't get Paul's good behavior out of her head. Meg sets off to see him, unaware that Paul has come across a just-fired Emily and they have decided to rehash old times.

Luke informs Noah about his plan to work for Damian instead of go back to school. Noah's hurt that Luke would make such a life altering decision without him. Luke promises Noah he'll quit and go back to school. Noah meets with Mason who urges him to support Luke rather than judge him. Luke winds up not quitting because it doesn't feel right and Noah surprises him with a work tie.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Nick and Bridget celebrate their one-month anniversary. Brooke desperately tries to get Ridge to change his mind about pursuing a future with Taylor and their children. Taylor recounts her past as she explains to her kids about her and Ridge's love story throughout the years. Steffy and Thomas devise a plan to keep Brooke away from Ridge. Ridge makes a final decision about his future and solidifies it with an engagement ring.


GUIDING LIGHT

Remy raises the flag at half mast and Doris, Mel, and Frank all stand silent for a moment. Shayne, Josh, Hawk, and Rafe start setting up for Jeffrey's funeral. Shayne puts up a photograph of Jeffrey on the stand. On her way out, Reva pushes the lantern close to the window and puts on her wedding band. Olivia leaves a message for Natalia and informs her about Jeffrey's funeral. Marina asks Mallet to go to the funeral by himself if he thinks she's responsible for the sadness of the day. Shayne leaves Dinah a note that reads, "I still want to marry you." Reva stands face to face with Jeffrey's picture as the guys watch from a distance. Olivia and Ava arrive, and Ava goes to Reva. Reva takes Ava to meet her little brother Colin. Doris starts the service to celebrate Jeffrey's life. Dinah hesitates when she arrives then finally sits with Shayne. Doris announces that Reva asked them all to bring something that reminded them of Jeffrey and place it in the box. Reva puts Jeffrey's recipe for chicken soup in the box. Frank, Mel, Rafe, Marina, Hawk, Phillip, and Olivia each put an item in the box. Dinah speaks up and says she has something too. Dinah says she's known Jeffrey longer than everyone else and she owes him everything. Dinah drops a tiara in the box. Mallet notices Marina walk away, overwhelmed. Billy announces that they have arranged to take a plot of land near Fifth Street and turn it into a community playground in honor of Jeffrey. Reva grows hysterical when she realizes Jeffrey brought her to the park the last time, knowing it was a goodbye. Billy leaves to check on Reva. Josh says they should all take a break and let Reva collect herself. Shayne and Matt try to calm Dinah down after she yells out that it's all her fault.
