Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."


THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Amber and Deacon wake up and Amber immediately demands that Deacon hand over the evidence that proves Daniel's innocence. Deacon however, distracts Amber when he tells her that Daniel heard everything last night and Amber runs from the room without the DVD. Later, Amber tries to visit Daniel but he refuses to see her.

On Chloe's birthday, Chance spends quality time with Delia and Chloe and Nina notice that he is a natural. Meanwhile, Phillip tells Cane that he is ready to head out of Genoa City but Cane reminds him that his family needs him now more than ever. Later, Chloe realizes that Mac and Chance are a lot alike and decides to try and set them up in order to save her marriage.

Lily is devastated when she learns that the cancer had spread and that during surgery they had to remove her uterus and fallopian tubes. Neil tries to raise her hopes by telling her they were able to harvest some of her eggs but Lily is inconsolable. Meanwhile, Jill goes to offer Cane her support while he worries about Lily. Later, Lily asks Devon to bring Cane to her.

Daniel is stunned when Amber tells him that she slept with Deacon for him. Amber explains everything to Daniel and he can't help but believe her, however, his anger doesn't allow him to forgive her. Later, Deacon slips the DVD into an envelope addressed to the D.A.'s office as he remembers his night with Amber, convinced that she will come back to him.

Nina asks Chance to get to get know Phillip and he may be surprise by the man he is. Later, Jill brings Cane to Chloe's party and asks everyone to accept that Cane is going to be apart of her life. Nina and Billy aren't thrilled at the prospect but Kay welcomes him. Meanwhile, Tyra tells Devon that no matter what else Cane has done, Lily needs him right now and that's all that should matter. Tyra hears Neil praying, unaware that he is speaking to Dru and she feels like an intruder on his grief so she slips out unnoticed.

Daniel makes it clear to Amber that he can't forgive, no matter her reasons.

Chance makes it clear to Chloe that nothing is going to happen between himself and Mac. When he notices Nina looking at a photo of Phillip he decides to take a chance and have a cup of coffee with his father for his mother's sake. Nearby, Cane gets a call from Devon asking him to come see Lily and as he is leaving Billy pushes him out the door and tells him that there is no way in hell he will ever let him back into his family again.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Brad learns Kim won't employ him without a co-host. He and Henry try to convince Kim to take Vienna back so Brad can work. Kim thinks the audience won't respond to Vienna anymore, but that they will respond to Henry. Henry leaps at the opportunity to co-host but Brad helps him see that it would ruin any chances of him reuniting with Vienna. Henry dejectedly returns home, only to find a bouquet of flowers with an apology note. Henry's thrilled and thinks Vienna's returning to him, but when he opens the door he finds it's actually his mother.

Meg walks in on post-coital Paul and Emily. She's embarrassed but Paul's sensitive and asks her to stay and say what she came to say. Meg thanks Paul for helping Dusty. Meg admits Paul's been acting the way he did when she fell in love with him. Paul's grateful, but admits he's not going to have surgery to return his memories. Meg's upset Paul wouldn't want to remember his daughter. Paul and Emily remain intimate throughout the day, but when he offers her money, Emily's offended. Paul explains it's just to help her get her feet on the ground. Finally Emily takes it and takes her leave of Paul to return her attention to finding a new job. Meg returns to Damian, upset over the fact that the new Paul doesn't want her. Damian says that Paul doesn't know what he is missing and the two begin to make love.

Earlier, Lily, Damian, Lucinda and Holden argue over whether Luke should work for Damian or Lucinda. Lily's increasingly uneasy with her feelings for Damian.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

While basking in the happiness of her engagement to Ridge, Taylor asks Stephanie to be her matron-of-honor. Brooke is devastated by the out-of-character text messages that she is receiving from Ridge, and becomes even more so when Stephanie spills the beans about Taylor's engagement ring. Relieved to not have been caught by Ridge, Thomas and Steffy take other measures to ensure Brooke stays away. Whip takes any opportunity possible to shed a negative light on Owen in front of Jackie.


GUIDING LIGHT

Jeffrey's funeral is still on hold after Reva's emotional explosion. Matt realizes Dinah is about to admit the truth to Shayne so he interrupts her. Matt tells Dinah that she needs to live her life and confessing isn't going to change anything. Josh announces to the group that Reva won't be coming back. Olivia admits to Phillip that Natalia's silence is starting to affect everything in her life. Shayne tells Dinah to marry him so they can give Reva something to be happy about. Reva is walking toward the house when she suddenly hears Jeffrey's voice and is filled with memories of her last moments with Jeffrey. Reva collapses in the middle of the driveway. Phillip runs toward Reva, worried that she's hurt. Reva tells Phillip about the last time she saw Jeffrey. Reva slowly walks in the house, picks up Jeffrey's guitar, and asks Jeffrey what he was thinking. Suddenly, a figure appears, struggles along the jungle floor, then collapses... it's Jeffrey: ALIVE.

Shayne tells Dinah that he wants to marry her as soon as possible. They begin to make love.

Marina tells Mallet she's sad because they're losing what they have. Marina senses that Mallet doesn't trust her and asks if he still loves her. Mallet says he'll always love her. Marina tells Mallet that they have too much to lose to let it all go without a fight.

Olivia admits to Ava that she and Natalia fell in love. Olivia explains that Natalia left because it was too much for her. Ava is happy that Olivia has found someone to love and believes that Natalia loves her just as much in return.
