Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Chance meets with Phillip for lunch to get to know his father and Phillip tells him that he is gay. Later, Phillip tries to explain to Chance why he felt he had to run away from everything the way that he but Chance only sees what he did as cowardly.

Billy confronts Jill about the true reasons she appointed him CEO of Jabot. Billy is disgusted and hurt to learn that he was a pawn in his mother's game with Victor to get back at Jack. Meanwhile,
Ashley overhears Victoria and Victor discussing the real reason Colleen lost her board seat at Newman and she demands to know why Victor hid this from her. Later, Victor lies smoothly with Ashley to cover his part in getting Colleen removed from the board.

Jack is finally forced to admit to Sharon that Mary Jane is after her because of him. Jack explains everything he has learned about Mary Jane but Sharon is certain that the closer Jack gets to her the more threatened Mary Jane feels. Sharon tells Jack to move back to the mansion immediately.

Phillip tells Chance that he will stay in Genoa City if he wants him to but Chance doesn't give him an answer one way or another. Later, Phillip and Jill compare notes on parenting and Phillip reminds Jill that he learned how to be an absent parent from her. Phillip, however, tells Jill that he forgives her and the two finally find a way to move forward. Meanwhile, Nina admits to Chance that although Phillip may be gay, her feelings for him have never died.

Nick finally remembers what it was like to love Phyllis and how she showed him how to love again after Cassie died. He kisses her passionately, unaware that Summer has been watching them, happily. Later, Nick asks Phyllis to marry him again. Meanwhile, Jack pushes Sharon too far and she finally admits that the baby isn't his, its Nick's.

Billy interrupts the Newman Board meeting to shed some light for Ashley on the real Victor Newman.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Teri and Janet catch up. At first, Jack isn't cool with Teri being the nanny/cook for his kids, so Craig agrees to get Teri a job at Metro for the time being. Later, Jack relents. Teri is hired as a nanny and all agree that Sage and Parker will stay at Milltown.

Luke looks over the Grimaldi annual report in advance of his first day of work there. Lily and Holden try to convince him to work for WorldWide, since it's his family's company and it's more diversified. Luke takes offense that Holden is trying to pull him away from the work he wants to do and accuses him of acting like Damian.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Taking advantage of Owen being out of town, Whip plans an afternoon with Jackie to get to know her, and her situation, much better. Taylor and Stephanie share a tender moment as the day that they have both been waiting for has finally arrived. Ridge confesses his hurt to Eric that Brooke hasn't tried to contact him to attempt to talk him out of marrying Taylor. Meanwhile, Brooke waits on the beach for Ridge to arrive for their happy reunion.


GUIDING LIGHT

A volunteer drops off boxes for an emotionally numb Reva to fill for the Fifth Street Mission. Reva starts to dump Jeffrey's things into the boxes. Blake comforts Reva when she tells her she wants to get rid of Jeffrey's stuff to get rid of her pain. Reva tells Matt she's thinking about returning to
work, and that it's not too soon. Mallet sees Reva with all the boxes and asks her if she's sure about this. But to her, keeping them won't bring Jeffrey back. Shayne tells Josh he's telling Reva about his engagement today. Dinah tries to get Matt to leave the gym before her kick-boxing class starts. He tells her she's a hero for what she did. Matt won't let Dinah forget what she did; Shayne shows up and tells Dinah they're going to give Reva their good news. Shayne and Dinah show up as Reva looks at Jeffrey's keepsakes. She sees the engagement rings and tells them how happy she is. Shayne tells a guilt-ridden Dinah that she makes so many different lives better. Reva pulls out the "What the Hell" poster, puts it on the mantle and tells Jeffrey she's trying.

Bill and Lizzie make love - trying to preserve the honeymoon feeling as long as they can. Beth stops by to tell Lizzie there is a wedding present she needs to take Lizzie to see. Beth takes Lizzie to the same house Bill had looked at - and tells her Phillip bought it for them as a wedding present. Lizzie tells Bill she has good news, but Dinah beats her to it, announcing her wedding is the day after tomorrow. Lizzie takes Bill to their new house. They head inside their house to check it out. They're going to make this house a home and move in tomorrow.

Marina and Mallet retrace her steps the day of the murder. Frank finds Cyrus' cell empty and wants to know who would post bail for a jewel thief. Buzz knocks on Cyrus' door. He demands to know everything Coop told Cyrus about Jenna. Buzz pulls out Coop's box to go over the pieces with Cyrus. Marina finds out her credit card was canceled and tries to figure out the mess. Buzz admits he used Marina's credit card to re-mortgage Company to bail Cyrus out of jail. The shocked Cooper family wants answers. Buzz tells them Cyrus is the only person to help him solve Coop's mystery. As Marina breaks down under the stress, Mallet tells her he has the receipt that's another piece of the puzzle. Blake tells a troubled Frank that Buzz didn't do this for Cyrus, he's doing it for his family. As Buzz and Cyrus go over more material, Buzz proclaims he's not going to stop until they've figured it out. Frank tells Buzz he can't support what he's doing, but he won't stop him either. With another receipt in hand, Mallet tells Marina she can account for her whole day - except for a 45 minute gap in time.
