Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

As Billy helps a stumbling, slurring, drugged Jack out the door of the dive bar After Billy dumps Jack at home and rushes off to be with Delia, drunk and delirious, Jack makes love to a woman he believes is Sharon.

Lauren defends Amber to Michael as they discuss her involvement with Deacon on Daniel's behalf, knowing Deacon's motives and the sacrifice Amber had to make. Meanwhile, Daniel walks in on Amber packing her things up in their apartment. Just as Amber is about to leave Daniel stops her. Daniel asks for his key back and tells her that the reason they are breaking isn't because she slept with Deacon but because he can't take her lying to him anymore.

Kay tries to subtly pry an answer from Mac about her relationship with Billy. Kay wonders if Mac can truly live with the fact that she had a hand in breaking up Billy's marriage. Meanwhile, Chance tells Chloe that he is interviewing to become a detective.

Lauren grows concerned for Paul when she hears him describe Victor as the great love of Nikki's life. However, Paul is certain that Nikki is ready to move on. Meanwhile, Kay can see that Nikki hasn't let go of Victor, no matter how much Nikki says otherwise.

Billy tells Chloe that he can never forgive Jill for choosing Cane, a con artist over him, her own son, just as Kay arrives and tells him he will live to regret it. Alone, Chloe and Chance discuss how different Billy would have been with a mom like Nina and the two have a loaded moment as they lock eyes.

Jack wakes up in a haze and finds a note by his bedside, realizing he slept with Mary Jane, not Sharon. Meanwhile, Mary Jane returns to the dive bar and Mac is disturbed by her behavior. Later, Jack calls Paul to tell him that Mary Jane was in his house.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Paul talks to a doctor about his surgery, but is reluctant to have it done if he'll regain his memory and turn back into the person surrounded by so much anguish. Later, Alison tells Paul she wants him to stay away from her sister but the plan seems to backfire when Paul gets on Emily's good side by using his money to buy her paper back for her.

Meg and Lily shoot insults at each other over their love lives. Lily assures Holden that she's only interested in protecting Meg from Damian, not in Damian himself. Later, Meg sleeps in Damian's arms when Lily calls him apparently just to stay she and Holden will back off and not interfere anymore - even though she's not entirely convinced.

Meanwhile, Damian convinces a suited-up Luke to join him at the Lakeview for a meal with a client, Mr. Rusk, who has actually brought his daughter, Sara. Luke first thinks Damian's trying to set him straight again, but Damian assures it's a misunderstanding, and they all have a great time. Noah, meanwhile, goes to a screening with Mason, which turns out to be private. Noah and Luke had agreed to meet at Yo's after their engagements, but Noah finds Luke at the Lakeview hanging out with Sara. Luke convinces Noah that nothing's going on with Sara, but they leave a little unsettled given their new respective activities.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Knowing that Bill is looking for the scoop about Ridge and Taylor's wedding, Katie feels the need to defend her sister's actions. Ridge takes the blame for the fiasco at his and Taylor's wedding. Stephanie confronts Brooke about the scene she had caused at the beach house, while Brooke has a few harsh words in return.


GUIDING LIGHT

Alan picks up a call from Ed on Phillip's cell and mimics Phillip's voice. Alan is stunned by Ed's news. Ed says that the test results are not good and it may be too late for experimental treatment for Phillip's disease. Ed goes on to explain that the diagnosis and timeline is still the same, and that it's time to tell his family. Alan hangs up with Ed as Phillip returns, and he sees his son in a new light. Alan confronts Phillip about the fact that he's dying. Phillip admits his disease is progressive and incurable. Suddenly Alan's demeanor shifts and he accuses Phillip of lying to him.

Bill and Lizzie walk around their new house and take notes on what needs to be fixed. Bill promises they will raise Sarah there someday. Matt offers his services as a contractor. Matt is excited to help work on the house and suggests they live somewhere else during the renovations but Bill is determined to stay there. Lizzie tells Beth she wants her and Phillip to settle down together, but Beth says that Phillip has no intention of spending his life with her. Matt asks Beth out and she tells him she has to think about it.

Dinah tries to get Mallet to listen to her and accept that she's the killer. Mallet is silent as Dinah explains that she killed the man to protect Henry. Dinah expects Mallet to arrest her but instead, he says she needs to live her life and they are never going to talk about it again. Dinah tells Shayne she's afraid that she's not who he thinks she is. Shayne is certain they'll have a great life together. Frank tells Mallet he overheard Dinah tell him she's the one who killed the John Doe. Mallet explains that he wanted to give Dinah a break until tomorrow, but Frank says Mallet needs to take immediate action. Shayne slowly takes off Dinah's wedding dress then he slips into the bathroom. Dinah answers Mallet's call and is torn and afraid by his news. Mallet warns Dinah that Frank knows she's the killer and says she's not safe. He tells her he wants to help her.
