Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

As Nikki and Paul's wedding day approaches, Nikki runs into Victor and Victor suspects that she doesn't love Paul the way he loves her, although Nikki tries to hide it. Meanwhile, Adam continues to manipulate Ashley as he lends her his support, bonding over their mutual feeling of betrayal from Victor. Later, Ashley is on the verge of falling apart when she can't find Zapato anywhere.

Victoria tells Nick that there is a huge rift between her and J.T. because of Victor. Later, Paul asks J.T. to be his partner in his P.I. business.

Jack meets with Paul and tells him he mistakenly slept with Mary Jane last night. Meanwhile, Mary Jane plots to get revenge on Zapato for killing kitty. Later, Paul and Jack realize how truly danger Mary Jane is. Meanwhile, Victor finds Zapato in the bushes, barely moving.

At the chapel, Nikki bumps into Father Todd who gives her an old photo of herself with Paul as kids. Nikki remembers her life with Paul and her uncertainty for the future starts to creep back in. Before she knows it her thoughts turn to Victor and happier times.

The vet tells Victor, Ashley and Adam that Zapato may have been poisoned and Victor immediately assumes that Mary Jane is the culprit. Later, the vet confirms that Zapato is dead and Ashley is distraught. Victor demands to know if he was poisoned. Meanwhile, J.T. accepts Paul's offer and his first assignment is Mary Jane Benson.

Jack finds Nikki at the chapel and reminds her that the love she has with Paul is pure and unconditional and Nikki finally remembers all the hard times she had with Victor. Later, Nikki asks Nick to walk her down the aisle and Nick gives her his approval to marry Paul. Nikki thinks back on the times Paul has always be there for her and finally convinces herself she is doing the right thing by marrying him.

Adam becomes alarmed when Victor tells him that Mary Jane has been spotted and he is stepping up security around the ranch. Later, Ashley overhears Victor and Jack arguing over what is best for her in regards to Mary Jane. Meanwhile, Mary Jane leaves flowers and a note at Jack's door telling him that she will see him soon.

Paul gives Nikki a wedding gift, a gold pendant of two ice cream cones to remind her of how they came to be here today. Nikki tells him that she is ready to marry him tomorrow.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

At Snyder Farm Janet's depressed about the state of her life, particularly in comparison to Teri. Jack comes up with a plan to cheer her up. He asks Brad and Katie if Janet can work on Oakdale Now. Brad guiltily admits he already asked Teri to fill in as co-host. Brad agrees that Janet should have the spot over Teri. He goes to speak to Teri but before he can Craig appeals to her and asks her not to leave her babysitting job. Teri obliges and turns down the position at ON. Brad admits to Teri that he's relived she can no longer take the job, since he now wants to offer it to Janet. Teri promises not to tell Janet the position was offered to her first. Janet's reluctantly thrilled to be offered the job at ON.

Janet and Liberty argue and Liberty goes to find Parker. Parker's busy with the advertising campaign he is working on for Craig and Liberty feels brushed off.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Brooke returns from her leave of absence in order to begin a new chapter in her life. Katie comes up with a new publicity campaign that she feels will save Forrester Creations. Unfortunately, Eric will have to make a few substantial sacrifices to proceed with the campaign. Owen becomes territorial with Jackie when he notices some chemistry between her and Whip. Ridge gives Brooke personal information about himself that she finds very promising.


GUIDING LIGHT

Dinah stops Shayne from planning the spontaneous honeymoon and admits the cops are after her... because she killed the man she thought was Edmund. Shayne feels betrayed and can't believe Dinah kept quiet the whole time. Shayne asks why Dinah didn't say anything sooner and doesn't think he can live with this. Dinah is ready to face the consequences and walks out. Mallet tells Frank they have to check Dinah's story to make sure she's not covering for someone. Mallet blocks Dinah from turning herself in and says he can fix this. Dinah is resolute about letting everyone know what she did and tells Mallet she hurts everyone she touches. Mallet gets an idea. He tells Dinah he's going to help her disappear to another country. Dinah insists on saying her goodbyes before she leaves. On a rooftop, Shayne holds his wedding ring over the edge then puts it back in his pocket. Reva and Josh are in shock when Shayne tells them Dinah is the murderer. Dinah tells Bill she's sorry she hurt him and Lizzie. Dinah wishes they could make up for lost time together. Dinah admits to Vanessa that she killed the man and must leave town. Vanessa praises her for being a hero. Mallet tells Marina he will meet her at home after he works out one more wrinkle in the case. After she leaves, Mallet finishes up a call for Dinah. Dinah places a handwritten letter for Shayne on the music box, with her wedding and engagement rings. She leaves her room forever. Shayne looks at all the wedding gifts and holds his ring in his hand. Dinah gets in Mallet's car and they drive off. Reva tells Shayne to go home and live his life with Dinah. Shayne reads the letter from Dinah and sets his ring next to hers. Dinah and Mallet exchange goodbyes then Mallet helps her into the chopper... She takes off and watches Mallet until he disappears from sight.

Vanessa, Josh, and Reva separate the wedding gifts. Josh tells Billy that Reva's not doing well. Josh watches Reva take a long look at the empty house before heading inside. Reva asks Josh not to go and admits she's not doing as well as she hoped. He notices Reva talking to Jeffrey's picture. Reva tells Josh that the wedding gave her relief and joy, which she hadn't felt in a long time. Billy steals a kiss from Vanessa then walks her out. Billy tells Frank that things with Vanessa are headed in the right direction. Meanwhile, in the woods, Jeffrey, feverish and weak, talks to Reva's photo to keep himself going. He trudges on toward a light but it turns out to be only a mirror. Jeffrey suddenly collapses to the ground and suddenly sees a 3 year-old girl. Jeffrey collapses just before reaching a remote cabin. A man walks over to Jeffrey's lifeless body-it's Jonathan!
