Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

At the wedding rehearsal, Nikki and Paul's families gather as they prepare themselves for the biggest day of their lives. Meanwhile, Sharon runs into Phyllis and notices her new wedding ring. Sharon starts to realize how truly alone she is as Phyllis runs off to meet Nick at Nikki's wedding rehearsal. Later, as Paul and Nikki are run through how the ceremony is going to go by Father odd, there is the slightest hint that Nikki's whole heart isn't in it.

Victor tells Ashley that they need to find a way to get past what happened with Jabot, however, Ashley remains angry and distant with him. Later, Ashley has a hallucination of Sabrina while talking to Victor and is petrified but refuses to tell him about it. Alone, Sabrina tells Ashley that she knows her secret about the baby.

At the G.C.A.C., the rehearsal dinner continue as the group discusses wedding omens. Nearby, Sharon sits at a table watches Nick and Phyllis blissful happiness and can't help be ripped apart by it. Later, Nick gives a loving speech to Nikki and Paul about commitment and Sharon can't take anymore as she slips out of the club, unnoticed. As the party breaks up, Kay tells Nikki that she truly believes she is making the right choice in marry Paul and letting go of the past. However, Kay's words only shake Nikki's uncertainty further. Nearby, the tension between J.T. and Victoria that has been building all night finally hits a head.

Neil's anger and frustration towards Cane for lying to Lily and at Lily's cancer all spill out as he is talking to Tyra and he takes out his emotions on her. Later, Tyra asks Neil, honestly, where they relationship is headed and Neil tells her that right now he can't focus on anything but Lily. Meanwhile, Lily and Cane go through the gift basket together and Lily is touched by how much time and effort Cane put into the items, including many things that will help her get through chemo easier.

Sharon goes to the jeweler and asks to see the same ring as Phyllis's wedding ring. Meanwhile, Nick and Phyllis are blissful as they kiss passionately at home.

Paul pronounces his love for Nikki, which leaves her in tears, but not in tears of happiness. Meanwhile, Ashley asks Victor if she was his consolation prize after Sabrina died. Ashley tells him that she has never truly known who she is to him. Later, Nikki finally admits to Paul that she can't marry him.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Alison tells Casey she's concerned about Bob, thinks he's having occasional memory loss. Casey think Bob's fine but agrees to ask Tom about it. Tom also deflects Alison's concerns. Riley, ill, comes to the hospital. Bob instructs Alison to administer a specific dosage of a medication to Riley, which turns out to be too high. Riley recovers, but Alison's freaked. When she tells Casey about the overdose he's also worried. However, since Alison can't be sure she didn't simply mistake Bob's instructions, Casey suggests they let go of their worries and remain calm. Meanwhile, Margo mothers ill Riley and Tom notices. Margo clues in that Tom's troubled with her behavior towards Riley. She tries to gauge how he'd react to discovering Riley's true identity, by asking Tom questions about how he'd treat Adam if he was still alive. Tom's alarmed by Margo's line of questioning and urges her to get help. He also asks Riley to leave and not say goodbye to Margo.

Barbara's upset to discover Paul's been giving his fortune away, specifically she's horrified that he would finance Emily's new paper. Paul puts Barbara in her place in front of Emily and Hunter. Paul invites Emily and Hunter to work on the paper from Fairwinds and to move in. They accept.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Jackie is the main focus of a "wildly" outrageous publicity photo shoot, where Owen involuntarily becomes her prop. The Logan sisters display their new positions within the Forrester Creations "hierarchy" during their own photo shoot. Stephanie tries to hide it, but she is offended when hearing of the new Forrester Creations campaign. Taylor attempts to stay confident that Ridge will not succumb to Brooke's persuasiveness now that they are working together again.


GUIDING LIGHT

Phillip tells Lillian that Alan figured out he is sick. He says he's just trying to resolve the issues in the family before he dies. Lizzie gives Bill and Matt a list of things to buy for the house. Beth wants Phillip to come see Lizzie's new house, but Lillian suggests Beth give Phillip time to catch his breath since he just got into town. Phillip tells Ed he needs more time. Ed tells Phillip that there's nothing he can do to extend Phillip's life and that radical treatment will either save him or kill him. Beth invites Phillip to Lizzie's house. Phillip realizes he needs to get control of himself and spend time with his family. Lillian and Lizzie are excited that the house can become a family project. Ed tells Lillian that there's nothing that can help Phillip. Lizzie is excited to see Phillip and thanks him for her beautiful house. Lizzie tells Phillip that she wants to host Thanksgiving in the new house. Phillip tells Ed that if he can't help him, he'll find help somewhere else.

Reva tells Jeffrey's picture that she's sorry about losing it at the funeral, and says how much she misses him. Josh is at a loss about how to help Shayne, who just wants to be left alone. Mallet is on his cell and checks to makes sure Dinah got off okay. Marina looks at Mallet when Frank tells her Dinah confessed. Mallet apologizes to Marina for suspecting she was the killer. Marina tells Frank that Dinah did them all a favor. Josh tells Reva that they have to help Shayne get an annulment. Reva closes the door in Mallet's face after he tells her that Jeffrey will be completely exonerated. Josh tells Marina that Dinah walked out on Shayne. Shayne's anger finally flares when Frank arrives, looking for Dinah. Shayne tries to block Frank from entering but Frank shoves his way in. Frank is starting to collect evidence when Mallet arrives. Shayne grabs a cop after the cop takes the music box. Reva agrees with Marina's defense of Dinah, but wishes Dinah had told them the truth sooner. Reva gets a call from Mallet. Mallet tells Reva that Shayne got belligerent and they had to arrest him. Josh tells Matt that he's trying to work through his anger about Dinah so that Shayne doesn't have to see it. Reva storms into the station to get Shayne, and then calls Josh. Shayne, in cuffs, is led inside. Mallet tries to explain it's not personal. Mallet tells Reva they're still searching for Dinah. Frank asks Bill if he's seen Dinah and informs him that Dinah confessed. Marina visits Shayne and is sorry Dinah hadn't told him. Josh comforts Reva and tells her he posted Shayne's bail. Marina suggests Mallet come home to rest. Shayne is released, and the family walks out together. Marina and Mallet head to their car just as Reva, Josh, and Shayne walk out. Shayne glares at Mallet, then locks eyes with Marina. Meanwhile, Jonathan has no luck reviving Jeffrey so he carries him off into the woods. Jonathan lays Jeffrey down and reassures Sarah that Jeffrey is a good guy. Jeffrey starts to come to life and warns Jonathan that Edmund wants to destroy everyone Reva loves. He bandages his leg and explains how much a threat Edmund is.
