The countdown to the New Year is on. Friday the city of Boston unveiled the design for the new First Night Boston button.

About The Button

The $18 Button is your ticket into all of the city's First Night festivities, which attract more than million people into the city each year.

This year's button was designed by local artist Rachel Maguire - featuring festive colors and some partying penguins.

You can buy buttons online now at firstnight.org, or in person beginning November 28 at your local Shaw's, Star Market, Tedeschi's, Store 24, and Au Bain Pain among others.

About First Night Boston

First Night Boston was the nation's very "first" First Night, founded in 1976. The family-friendly celebration focused on local arts is now the model for more than 200 similar celebrations nationwide.
