Opening Day Fun Facts: How Much Will Fans Consume?
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
The Red Sox are not the only team getting ready for Opening Day at Fenway Park, the ballpark's kitchen will also be preparing tens of thousands of food items for spectators.
According to ARAMARK, fans at Fenway Park will eat nearly 53,000 items of food on Monday.
Here's what fans are expected to consume on Opening Day.
22,600 Hot Dogs
5,800 Bags of Peanuts
4,800 Sausage and Pepper Sandwiches
4,000 Slices of Pizza
3,000 Pounds of French Fries
2,900 Soft Pretzels
2,200 Bags of Cracker Jack
2,000 Bags of Popcorn
1,500 Sliders
1,000 Hamburgers
1,500 Orders of Chicken Tenders
800 Bags of Cotton Candy
500 Orders of Nachos
200 Clam Chowder
7,400 Bottles of Water
1,500 Gallons of Soda
