New Food Items Offered For Opening Day
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
Opening Day at Fenway Park. It's the day Red Sox fans have been waiting for since the team won the World Series. In addition to the
new improvements that will be seen throughout the park, there will also be a lot of new items at the concession stands for baseball fans.
Aramark has released a list of all the foods at Fenway, including crab rolls, fish and chips, pastrami sandwiches,
kosher hot dogs, and buffalo chicken wraps. And for the health conscious folks, there are turkey sandwiches, yogurt, fruit cups and deli wraps. (

And here's a couple of fun facts for you. On Opening Day, fans are expected to consume, 20,600 hot dogs, 5,800 bags of peanuts, 3,500 slices of pizza, 3,000 pounds of french fries, 1,300 hamburgers, 300 gallons of ice cream, 7,200 bottles of water, 1,100 gallons of soda and 1,700 bags of the old favorite, cracker jack.
Tuesdsay's home opener will be against the Detroit Tigers. The first pitch is expected around 2:05 p.m.
