Clive Davis' Grammy Party Relocated

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― There will be a bit more breathing room this year for the A-list celebs who attend Clive Davis' swank pre-Grammy shindig.

Tuesday night's exclusive party and concert is being moved to the Beverly Hilton to avoid the increasingly tight quarters at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

"Last year, we had a problem with the fire marshals," Davis told The Associated Press on Monday.

The guest list this year is set to include Ellen DeGeneres, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Mary J. Blige, the Dixie Chicks, Usher, Green Day and Willie Nelson.

Davis likes to keep the list of performers as a surprise. Those familiar with the event say Kelly Clarkson, Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown and Heather Headley will be among the top performers.

"It's shaping up to be an incredible event ... They do things that you ever see anywhere else," Davis boasted of the talent. "This is one of the events where they put down their armor and celebrate the music itself."

Performances from the party will be broadcast on XM Satellite Radio.
