Boston Police Officer Suspended For Steroid Use

BOSTON (WBZ) ― There's more trouble for the Boston Police Department.

WBZ's I-Team has confirmed an officer has been suspended for a positive drug test, and sources tell WBZ, the drug in question is steroids.

Officer Kevin Guy is currently serving a 45-day suspension.

This is not the first case involving steroids and the Boston police. Last fall, Officer Edgardo Rodriguez, was convicted of distributing steroids and obstruction of justice.

The drugs pictured above were entered as evidence in that case.

Rodriguez will be sentenced next week on federal charges.
