Juan Nazario arraigned in Leominster District Court last month on two counts of child rape, but investigators say he may have raped dozens of kids over the years.

There's new information about an
alleged serial child rapist. The I-TEAM broke this story Thursday night. Chief Correspondent Joe Shortsleeve says the Leominster man is behind bars awaiting trial but investigators are just now sorting out the damage he may have left behind.
TV crews were talking to neighbors in the Leominster neighborhood while a few feet away children rode their bikes. It's here that 33-year-old Juan Nazario was arrested in early June and jailed on two counts of child rape. But it is what police found inside the home that shocked them.
Documents obtained by the ITEAM indicate Nazario was video taping his sexual assaults on kids for years. Sources tell the ITEAM investigators now believe he may have raped dozens of kids.
Neighbors who say Nazario often baby sat children say they watched as police removed loads of evidence from the third floor apartment.
Michelle Paskell lives across the hall.
"There was like six or seven boxes. I assume they were like videos. I don't know exactly what they were. But there were a lot of boxes."
Yisleny Palamino lives next door.
"I know the guy was there doing child pornography. I mean little five year olds. It was like little kids!"
Sources tell the ITEAM that Nazario was turned in by a relative who noticed semi nude photos of his own daughter on Nazario's cell phone.
In addition to the rape charges in June in Leominster the ITEAM found that Nazario was charged with rape six years ago in nearby Fitchburg where he was working as a bus driver.
Sources say he escaped serious jail time because the charges were reduced when the child did not testify.
This time some 20 investigators are now working the case.
Worcester County District Attorney Joe Early spoke exclusively to the I-TEAM.
"I can't say too much about the investigation other than there are some concerning elements about the case. It is an active and on going investigation and the defendant is charged with two counts of rape right now."
Nazario is in the Worcester County Jail awaiting trial. He is being held on $250,000 cash bail.
The judge in this case has impounded most of the documents. Nazario is due back in a Leominster court room the last week of August.
