Arrest Warrant Issued In Death Of Missing Man

CONCORD, N.H. (CBS4) ― An arrest warrant has been issued for an Epping, N.H., woman, who authorities say killed a 24-year-old man and burned his body.

The warrant accuses 47-year-old Sheila LaBarre of first-degree murder in the death of Kenneth Countie, who recently moved to New Hampshire from Wilmington and had been living with LaBarre for a month.

Countie was last seen in Epping on March 17 and he was reported missing March 23.

Officials say LaBarre killed Countie around March 21st in Epping, then incinerated his body.

Authorities say they don't know where LaBarre is and believe she may have changed her hair color to avoid detection.

They described her as five feet six inches tall, about 150 to 160 pounds, with brown eyes and blonde hair with brown roots.

Officials say they don't believe LaBarre has a vehicle, but does has a significant amount of cash.
