Friday's Red Sox Game Postponed Due To Rain

BOSTON (WBZ) ― Friday night's Red Sox game against the Brewers at Fenway Park was postponed because of heavy rain conditions.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, May 17. The game was called at 8:30 p.m. Friday after a one hour and 25 minute rain delay. Weather conditions were not expected to improve later in the evening.

The game will be played at 8:35 p.m. on May 17. Tickets for Friday's game will only be good for admission to the 8:35 p.m. game.

The first game begins at 3:55 p.m.

This is the first Red Sox postponement of the season.
