A jury on Cape Cod ends its second day of deliberations in the murder trial of Christopher McCowen without a verdict.
McCowen is accused of killing fashion writer Christa Worthington.
Jurors got the case shortly before noon yesterday after getting a couple hours of instructions from the judge. The panel deliberated for about four hours before going home for the day.
Worthington's body was found in her Truro home in January 2002.
Prosecutors cite D-N-A evidence linking McCowen to the crime, and argue he gave varying accounts of the events leading up to the killing.
Defense attorneys argued there's enough reasonable doubt to acquit the former trash collector. McCowen says a friend killed Worthington.
Deliberations resume Thursday.
