The jury in the Christa Worthington murder trial has gone home for the weekend without reaching a verdict.
One hour after resuming on Friday, the jury asked Judge Gary Nickerson to redefine the concept of reasonable doubt and the parameters of reasonable doubt.
The jury is deciding whether or not Christopher McCowen raped and fatally stabbed fashion writer Worthington in her Truro home in 2002.
McCowen told police he had consensual sex with Worthington, and it was his friend Jeremy Frazier who killed Worthington.
The panel will return to Barnstable Superior Court Monday morning to resume deliberations.
