Rockefeller Driver Testifies Before Grand Jury

BOSTON (WBZ) ― The limo driver who drove Clark Rockefeller the day he allegedly kidnapped his daughter testified Thursday before a Suffolk County grand jury.

Darryl Hopkins drove the SUV after Rockefeller allegedly shoved a social worker aside and grabbed his daughter in the Back Bay July 27.

Hopkins told WBZ earlier this month that Rockefeller told him he was trying to get away from a friend that day.  Hopkins claims he had no idea it was a kidnapping.

The grand jury is deciding whether to indict Rockefeller on kidnapping charges.

Hopkins could still be charged as an accomplice.
