Coast Guard Warns Mariners About Storm

BOSTON (WBZ) ― With a Nor'easter headed our way, the Coast Guard is taking precautionary measures to keep boaters safe.

The Coast Guard is sending out jets from Air Station Cape Cod through Tuesday to warn off shore mariners of the upcoming conditions.

Officials will also be issuing safety broadcast over radio channel 16 VHF/FM.

The storm, which is expected to reach the area on Tuesday, is expected to generate 50-knot winds and dangerous seas more than 20 feet high.
