'Flim-Flam' Artist On The Loose In Mass.

GARDNER (CBS4) ― Police are looking for an alleged "flim-flam" artist in Gardner.

According to officials, the suspect allegedly buys a low-priced item at a store, uses big bills to buy the item, and then, with a series of hand movement, switches 5s, 10s and 20s with one dollar bills -- fooling the clerk into giving him back more money.

Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect taken at the Oak St. Gas Station in Gardner.

Officials say this type of criminal is known to travel wide area and commit multiple thefts on a daily basis.
