Giovanni Gonzalez has been missing since his mother brought him to visit his father in August.

Daisy Colon says she can't sleep at night.
Nearly three months have passed
since her 5-year-old son Giovanni Gonzalez went missing.
In that time she has talked with police every day.
The leads and tips that initially came streaming into the detective unit have slowed down. That has the district attorney putting out a renewed plea to the public for information.
Daisy Colon is joining them.
"Giovanni's close. I feel it, it's like a mother's instinct," she told us Tuesday night. "I know he's close. I know that he's wondering or he's worried. It's like a sense that I have."
She dropped the boy off for a visit at his father's apartment in Lynn one Friday in August. When she returned to pick him up two days later, there was no answer at the door.
Within hours, police would arrest the boy's father, Ernesto Gonzalez, who said he did not know where Giovanni was. He's been behind bars ever since, and is due back in court Nov. 19 on child endangerment charges.
"He knows where Giovanni is, and for whatever reason, he's not saying," said Colon, who lives in East Boston.
If her son is out there, she has a message for him.
"I haven't forgotten you," she said. "I'm praying and I'm hoping that someone does talk soon."
And to the person who may have Giovanni, she said: "Let him go. It's been almost three months now and he needs his mom as well I need him."
