Man Injured By Thrown Rock Seeks Normalcy
Blinded In Right Eye By Random Act
WORCESTER (CBS4) ―
The man injured on July 27 when someone threw rocks off an I-290 overpass in Worcester is hoping to return to a normal life after being blinded in his right eye.
Michael Porra has endured two surgeries to fix his cheek, eyebrow and nose. Police still don't know who threw the rocks that also damaged two other cars.
"Right now we're telling him yes, there's hope for his eye but in reality there might not be hope for his eye and that's the sad part about it," said Anna Porra, Michael's wife.
