Reward Offered In Worcester Rock-Throwing Assault

WORCESTER (CBS4) ― Donations have increased a reward fund in the case of a rock-throwing assault in Worcester.

55-year-old Michael Porra suffered a fractured skull when he was hit by a large rock, thrown from an overpass, while driving on I-290 last week.

The rock went right through the windshield of Porra's Volvo and hit him in the face.

Two other cars were hit by rocks thrown from the Laurel Street overpass.

Donations from family, friends and the general public have pushed the reward fund for information leading to an arrest to $4,000.
