Red Sox rookie sensation Jacoby Ellsbury was rewarded for his hustle in the World Series with a free taco Tuesday.
Taco Bell's World Series promotion: ''Steal A Base, Steal A Taco,'' offered a free taco to every customer in all of the U.S. if a player stole a base in the World Series.
By stealing second base in Game 2, Ellsbury won millions of free tacos for people. Between 2 and 5 p.m. Tuesday people were able to go to any Taco Bell and get one free Seasoned Beef Crunchy Taco.
Ellsbury picked up his free taco at the Boston University Taco Bell at 700 Commonwealth Ave. in Boston.
The rookie said he was a taco eater back at school. "I went to Oregon State, and you know, I had Taco Bell quite a bit."
He told reporters he loves the chain's fire sauce.
