Firefighters Hurt In 3-Alarm Jamaica Plain Blaze

JAMAICA PLAIN (WBZ) ― Two Boston firefighters were hurt while battling a three-alarm fire in Jamaica Plain Thursday night.

The fire broke out on the rear porch of an apartment building at 37 Tower Street. 

All residents managed to get out safely.  The only injuries were to the firefighters, who were taken to an area hospital.

Fire officials say they are expected to be OK.
 
The cause of the fire is unknown.
