Tom Brady's one-month old son is making his first public appearance on a magazine cover.
John Edward Thomas Moynahan is on the cover of
OK! Magazine with his mother, as the latest issue hits newsstands Wednesday in New York City. The magazine will be available in Boston at the end of the week.
The magazine takes a shot at Brady on the cover, with the headline "Life Without Daddy."
But, the article itself is mostly about Moynahan loving life as a mom.
Those words don't come from her. Only "sources" allegedly close to her are quoted.
For example:
"Sure, Tom's with a younger woman now, but Bridget has his child," a source told the magazine. "The pain of dealing with the fallout of their failed romance has been overtaken with the joy of motherhood."
"While Tom has described John's arrival as a "very joyous, happy situation," there is no doubt that his commitment to the Patriots means that, geographically speaking, he can only be a part-time father at best."
The magazine reportedly paid Bridget Moynahan $100,000 for the photo session, which she'll apparently give to charity.
A spokesperson would not comment about the photo shoot, which was held over the weekend.
The magazine reportedly paid Eva Longoria and Tony Parker $2 million to publish their wedding pictures.
Moynahan gave birth to John Edward Thomas on Wednesday, August 22.
Moynahan, 36, who is originally from Longmeadow, Massachusetts, announced in February that she was pregnant with her first child. The announcement came only a few months after she and Brady ended their three year relationship.
Brady is now dating model Gisele Bundchen.
Moynahan is a former model who has starred in such films as "Coyote Ugly," "I, Robot" and "The Sum of All Fears." Her television credits include "Sex and the City" and the ABC series "Six Degrees."
Brady has led the Patriots to three NFL titles and is a two-time Super Bowl MVP.
