Affidavit Shows Police Found Bones On Epping Farm
GOFFSTOWN, NH (AP) ―
Investigators searching the ranch of a New Hampshire woman accused of murdering and burning the body of a farmhand from Massachusetts say they found human bones in a burn pile on her property, blood in her house and a bloody knife.
A court affidavit released Tuesday outlines the details in the case of Sheila LaBarre, who's been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Kenneth Countie.
He had moved from Wilmington, Massachusetts to her farm in Epping in February, and disappeared a month later.
LaBarre was arrested in Revere, Massachusetts earlier this month and was in court for a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
Investigators also say they found other burn piles on the ranch containing clothing remnants.
