Patriots cornerback Leigh Bodden has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Bodden had a career-high three interceptions and one touchdown in the Patriots' 31-14 win over the New York Jets Sunday.
It's the first time that Bodden has earned the honor.
This is the fifth time this season that the Patriots have had an AFC Player of the Week.
Tom Brady was the AFC Offensive Player of the Week in weeks 1 and 6.
Safety Brandon Meriweather was Defensive Player of the Week in week 7, and kicker Stephen Gostkowski was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week in week 9.
