Fireworks Possibly Shot At Plane Landing At Logan

The fireworks appeared to have been fired from the Belle Isle Marsh area of Winthrop. They did not hit the landing plane.

Massachusetts State Police are investigating an incident at Logan Airport involving fireworks possibly being shot at a landing plane.
An Air Wisconsin regional jet was coming in for a landing over Winthrop Saturday afternoon, when the pilot reported seeing what looked like fireworks.
They appeared to be coming from the Belle Isle Marsh area. The plane was not hit and landed safely.
State Police are interviewing people in that area.
