Inspections To Begin On Longfellow Bridge

BOSTON (CBS4) ― Starting next week, drivers will start feeling the effects of construction work on the Longfellow Bridge.

As of Monday, one lane of the bridge, on the side that goes from Boston to Cambridge, will be closed for part of the day.

Inspectors will be checking out the bridge after the morning rush hour and then finishing their work before the afternoon rush hour begins.

Inspections should last 12 days.
