MIT Student Falls To Death From Frat House

Rob Wells fell to his death from his MIT fraternity in Boston.

Boston police are investigating the death of an MIT student who fell five stories from a fraternity house early Saturday morning.
Police said Robert Wells was pronounced dead after falling five stories from the Delta Upsilon fraternity at 526 Beacon Street in Boston around 5:45 a.m.
MIT police are working with Boston police in the investigation. Police officials said foul play is not suspected.
A Ballston Spa, N.Y. native, Wells was a senior in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences.
"We are truly saddened to learn of the death of Robert M. Wells," said MIT spokeswoman Pamela Dumas Serfes. "This is a tragedy for his family, friends and the entire MIT community, and our hearts go out to all of them during this difficult time."
Wells played for the men's water polo team and the football team for a time while attending MIT. Students told WBZ that he was an excellent student and athlete.
