The ex-husband of a woman who was killed in her Medfield home earlier this week is wanted on murder charges.
The Norfolk District Attorney's Office issued a warrant for Andrew L. Boisvert's arrest. He faces a murder charge in connection with Margaret Ninos' death.
The two have a 7-year-old daughter who was in the area of the home on Marlyn Road when Ninos was murdered Wednesday night. Police said Boisvert was the one who called 911. Ninos, a 47-year-old delivery nurse, suffered fatal head injuries.
Police said they believe Boisvert is armed with at least one firearm, and they urge people to not approach him.
He was last seen Thursday night. Police said they questioned him Wednesday night into Thursday morning, and that while they were routinely checking on him at his home in Bridgewater, he fled sometime Friday.
Police learned that Ninos had placed a restraining order against Boisvert in the past.
Boisvert, 37, is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall and may have a visible laceration on his head.
He may be driving a black 1998 Jeep Wrangler with Massachusetts plate #781-KLO registered to his attorney, William Scannel.
Authorities first issued the arrest warrant late Friday but were unable to find Boisvert overnight.
Attempts to contact Boisvert's attorney were unsuccessful.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police at 617-593-8840 or call 911.
