Natick Business Evacuated After Bomb Threat

NATICK (WBZ) ― The Massachusetts State Police Bomb squad is searching MathWorks in Natick after a bomb threat. Bomb sniffing dogs are also checking things out.

The business was evacuated after an employee there received a phone call saying there was a bomb inside.

MathWorks campus was evacuated as was a nearby retail and industrial center.

Jayme Solomon works near by at Zweig White, and was one of those evacuated.

"The fire alarms all went off and they told everyone to leave," Jayme said. "They told everyone to get 45 feet away from the building."

She said employees there were soon let back in the building, and they had not seen any sign of the bomb squad.

The company was founded in 1984 and is based just off Route 9 in Natick. According to their website MathWorks develops "software for technical computing and Model-Based Design".
