Woman Pregnant With Twins Shot In Mattapan
MATTAPAN (WBZ) ―
A young woman who is pregnant with twins was shot twice through the window of her apartment in Mattapan late Thursday night.
The unidentified woman was rushed to Boston Medical Center after the shooting.
She was listed in stable condition Friday, with non-life-threatening wounds, according to police. Her babies are expected to be o.k.
According to the Boston Herald, she is 24 to 25 weeks pregnant.
Police commissioner Ed Davis said someone tapped on the window of the home on Tennis Road around 9 p.m. moments before the shots were fired.
There have been no arrests and there's no word on a motive.
Investigators are not sure if the woman, or someone else in the home, was the intended target.
