Video Shows Molly Bish Minutes Before Abduction

WARREN (CBS4) ― It's now been six years since 16-year-old lifeguard Molly Bish was abudcted from a pond in Warren and killed.

On this anniversary of her disappearance, CBS4 has obtained never before seen video of Bish from that day showing her final minutes with her mother.

"It gives a view of her moments before she disappeared and is murdered," said her mother Magi Bish, who attended a candlelight vigil on the Warren town common Monday night.

The videotape, obtained by CBS4's Kathy Curran, shows a frame by frame snapshot of Molly Bish thirteen minutes before she disappeared from Comins Pond in Warren on the morning of June 27, 2000.

The timeline begins at a convenience store with her mother about a mile away from the pond.

"We went into Sunoco where there's an Xtra-Mart to get some water," her mother said.

At 9:47 a.m. Molly and Magi walked into the store. They leave four minutes later.

"You can see the time frame and see how quickly she's gone. Moments later her life is snatched and we can't get that back," said Magi Bish.

"This is moments before she reports for duty. She's walking into a trap. It shows a beautiful girl going about her business who suddenly disappears," said her father, John Bish.

The videotape ends, but the timeline continues.

At 9:56 a.m. Molly left the Warren Police Department after picking up her lifeguard radio for the day.

Two minutes later, at 9:58, Magi dropped Molly off at Comins Pond.

Investigators originally believed Molly was at her lifeguard post for about 6-to-8 minutes before she disappeared. In the last year, they've narrowed that window. Now they believe Molly was there for only about two minutes before she was abducted, at approximately 10 a.m.

"It's the first thought when I wake up, the last I have before I go to bed... what happened to Molly?" said John Bish.

Molly's remains were found in 2003 off West Warren Road in Palmer.

"Finding 26 bones of Molly is not what we wanted but it did bring us some peace," said John Bish. "But we will not stop until we find who harmed her."

There have been suspects in this case but Molly's killer has never been found.

"This is a cry to everyone who's listening. No family should have to endure this. No one has the right to take your child," said Magi.

Molly Bish would have turned 23 in August. There is a $100,000 reward for information leading to her killer.
