A teen boy is accused of shooting to death an 18-year-old woman and then shooting her 17-year-old boyfriend in New Bedford Wednesday night.

New Bedford police arrested 17-year-old Erick Cournoyer Thursday and charged him with the murder of Bianca Maria Rosado.

The teen is also accused of shooting the young woman's boyfriend, Victor Camacho, who is listed in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital.

Police say Cournoyer shot Rosado and Camacho outside his home around 10:30 p.m.

He is charged with murder, armed assault with intent to murder and possession of illegal firearm.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday morning in New Bedford District Court.

Police said no further details about the shooting would be released until the arraignment.
