Knee Injury Could End Harrison's Football Career

Harrison Tore The ACL In His Left Knee Sunday

by Bob Lobel
BOSTON (CBS4) ― It looks like the Pats win yesterday in Pittsburgh was a costly one. Sources tell CBS4's Bob Lobel that safety Rodney Harrison suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. He's done for the year, and this could potentially be a career-ending injury.

Lobel broke the story on cbs4boston.com Monday afternoon.

Patriots tackle Matt Light has a broken bone just below his right knee; he could possibly return late in the season.

Harrison's injury came in the first quarter of yesterday's 23-to-20 win over the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Light left the game later in the first half.
